Lutradur

This is a revolutionary new material for sewing, crafting and mixed media arts!  Spun polyester fibers add beautifully sheer texture to your work. 

We carry the Ultra-Light Lutradur in two-yard length packages (this is VERY flexible) which is perfect for large or dimensional projects. We also carry the heavier-weight Lutradur by the metre!

Lutradur has many wonderful properties. You can paint it, stamp it,  run it through your ink-jet printer, melt it - it doesn't ravel. The lighter weight makes great journal pages and overlays!

Lutradur was painted on both sides in this art piece and then cut out into leaf shapes and stitched onto the finished piece. The stiffness of the Lutradur allows the shapes to "fall off" the quilt!
